You guys make me laugh.

I'm still camping and it has been a good time. Thunderstormed last night so I'm drying things out at a laundry place before everyone else gets up, so I thought I'd get caught up.

W continues to be so sweet. We visited her parents a couple of days ago and I was helping FIL out in the yard. W came out with lunch she made for me. A lot of little things like that.

Last night we talked a lot about XOM and how I still had a tough time thinking about her R with him. She is making a real effort to be open about it which is helping a lot. She looked so gorgeous last night while talking by the fire. We are going to the beach today with SD8 and her friend. It's supposed to be sunnier today.

Glad to hear the update. It's wonderful that your W is being so open and honest with you. I would imagine that getting the honest truth about her R w/XOM would be better than all the imaginings in your head of how it went.

No drama or anything exciting to report, just dropping by to check on everyone and get caught up. We've got a day back in town to decompress, then W and I leave on our couples weekend tomorrow. We're both excited to get away together, the anticipation made even greater after sharing a tent with two kids for the last few days! Still waiting for the inevitable first conflict, but until that happens, I'm enjoying the second honeymoon.
