I have thought the same thing about my spouse. And then in the next thought I realize that W did indeed seem to change just like that into the alien-possessed person she is now, almost over night. So it's not really outside the realm of possibility. Unlikely, yes, but not impossible.

Good Morning Starshine the earth says Hello! How are you going to be today? Maybe this is our choice? Don't know but wanted to stop by before I headed for work.

Thanks so much GFI! I'm afraid if you were within driving distance, I'd let you!!! \:\) H4H, you're right; it's time for it to be over. I feel like that more every day. Tired of having to stand up for myself against the big,bad bully every time--life shouldn't be like that. NC, I thought that too, my H has changed so much in the past 2 years, but I'm not holding my breath that he will change anytime soon-and even if he did which is unlikely, so much stuff he has done the past year would be hard to forget, trust him, etc.

I finally got my hair cut today--it had been about 6 months!!! I took the time & money today and did it, and it looks so much better! I have long hair but still...My hairstylist is so sweet, she had cut D8's hair a few weeks ago and D8 liked her also. She was telling me her 1st husband was a cheater and a yeller too. She found out after the D in something like 11 years of marriage, he'd only been faithful for 2 years! Now she's happily remarried and she says she totally trusts him--he had the same experience with his 1st wife being a cheater so he calls her she says even if he's just going across the street to tell her and give her the number. She met him in an internet chat room btw and she moved to our town from across the country. Kind of a modern-day fairy tale I thought! But anyway, talking to her was better than the therapist and my hair looks great too! \:\) Karen

Good for you, treating yourself!

Did you have one of those "Spin You Around to Meet the New You" moments like on What Not To Wear? I'm always jealous of those - I always get spun around to see, yep, looks about the same, just shorter. Not much the stylist could do to surprise me, short of shaving it all off! \:\)

Oh, yeah, I always get that b/c I wait way too long to get it cut and then go in looking like I've been living in the jungles or something, so they do the dramatic transformation and love to amaze me (and they do)!!! Maybe you should do a 180 and do something different with your hair--color it or grow it out longer or something so you look like a rocker or surfer? I guess guys can't do as much as us girls though...Karen

Great, Corey! I did some drywalling today (still working on the bathroom in my spare time), cleaning, homeschooling, etc. D8 and I cut up & painted a large cardboard box and turned it into a house for the cat for fun. H came and picked up the kids tonight and I guess will return them soon. I just did an hour-long workout; going to get in great shape b/c I work out upstairs a lot of the times when H is here to see the kids. I'll check on your thread as soon as I can. Are you going to join us on one of our Movie Nights? We are going to have a chick flick night very soon with 27 dresses and Nanny Diaries if you're up for it! \:\) Karen

Hey Karen,

Just mosied on over to check up on you. You're sounding as if your doing well. Exercise is a God send isn't it?

Enjoy your time alone. I would imagine that you don't get much of that with your kids the ages they are.

Take care Sweetie and keep smiling!

Love,
Bethie
