I remember probably 6 weeks ago or so. You kissed your W, in the kitchen I think. Whatever it was, she said she had to go, her heart was racing!?! Wasn't it something like that?

So you CAN make her heart go "boom boom". It just isn't going to feel that way all the time.

I am in a similar spot as you, just several weeks behind. H and I have been almost piecing for about 3 1/2 weeks. He is here every night, will hold my hand, spend time with me, and I am sure he feels that is great progress. But we have NO hanky panky whatsoever, kisses but with lips closed (no big kisses), etc.

I, like you, want the whole package back. I want that honeymoon period of being lovey-dovey. I want a return for my investment too.

Sorry if I am hijacking. I am trying to say that I feel some of what you are feeling. I suppose it is typical in piecing. Because we weren't the ones who wanted it to end in the first place, we are just ready for things to get good again and stay that way. It must be a much longer process for them...
