Smokry,

I read one of your posts and was curious to know what you thought about Xenadrine EFX? I have not been able to find anything negative about it. Also, I am starting Body for Life and think highly of the plan. What do you think? Any advice on weightloss/weightraining would be appreciative. Sorry to get off the DB topic

None of those pills are good for you - better to do it naturally.

I have to agree, just read a scary article in Oprah about the dangers of virtually ALL of those diet aids.

I have read something very recently about the one asked about, along with some others. They really aren't good at all.

Then he said- this isn't hard- maybe I should just take it all over and start paying the bills myself.
Now, how can you make this a pleasant experience for him.

Over the weekend we decided instead of just me doing this or just him that we would do it together. I am holding him accountable to the budget and keeping him informed of what was paid-showing him the bank balance, etc...

Did you check percentages??? How is the bill board coming??

Percentages are in line with what we are doing now....the bill board is coming along- Having it posted will hopefully help him remember what we are trying to accomplish!

Payday update- well, I think it's a miracle!! He actually did exactly what he said he would do! Deposited the check, kept 20.00 cash, brought in his paycheck stub and the depostit slip and asked me if I had paid the bills we had agreed on for this week. I did that and showed him what all I had paid. And we actually had money left over! Amazing! Now I feel like I need to make the extra money disappear into a savings account or bonds so he won't be tempted to spend it. Guess it's gonna take more than one time for me to trust him! I feel like I'm holding my breath...is he REALLY going to do this right THIS time!!??

For the first time in a LONG time- I am feeling a little hopeful. I really feel like for the first time EVER that he is trying to make changes and is serious about it.

We still have a long way to go...obviously finanaces aren't our only problem but at least we are making headway. I'm almost afraid to say I'm hopeful...

Thanks again for your suggestions!

Hi- I would be happy to chat with anyone about fitness, exercise plans, etc on aol im- my screen name is MKGlamourgrl...that way we don't take up dbing space with off topic stuff.

Just a few comments about fitness, etc...Your diet is what you eat on a daily basis...it is NOT something you "go on". Think of this the next time you want to try that great new fad diet- If it is not something you can do for the rest of your life it is NOT worth doing for even one day!

And...If there was a "quick miracle fix" that ACTUALLY worked don't you think we'd all be thin and buff???

And...the absence of a major illness or disease does NOT necessarily mean that you are healthy...

OK...off my soapbox...like I said- feel free to im me or you can email me privately at smokry@texas.net

Just remember that before starting any new program you should check with your doctor...

PS- I briefly looked that the bfl web site...it looks ok at first glance- I will check into it more later when I have time!
