P.S. While discussing the taxes ex sent me an email from his lawyer and by mistake he sent the part where he had asked, "I heard my ex has a new job. Will that get me out of paying maintenance?" I decided to pick my battle: pay the taxes now and be ready to fight if he tries to stop maintenance (it's barely anything anyway! It will just help me move after D17 graduates from high school....10 months from now).
