Kimmie, thank you. I assure you, I am no DB role model. More like poster child.

Gypsy! XOM is definitely showing is true colors. She even said "Does he think this is going to woo me back?" And I am really happy with the way she is handling him. I am also pleased she makes a point to tell me whenever he contacts her. Nothing hidden.

MC is in the "reconnaissance" phase. First appointment, just getting acquainted. Nothing too deep. Will keep you posted and guard my sandals.

Does this mean you won't be joining us for movie night anymore?

Peter, I'm going to disagree with you here.

Peter you are way to modest/humble. I think you are an excellent role model. I've followed you since I go it here and you have handled this with such grace..there were times you were low buddy and you pulled yourself out. After the last time the D was held and she pulled back..you could have quit but you continued to DB..you are the reason she came back Peter..what you did brough her back, it snapped her out of the fog..

I've pointed people to your sitch as an example Peter..

You are a role model..a damn good one.

Peter, along with Gypsy I like the way the OM is being handled at the moment. You seem to be letting her get rid of him and you have her back. I bet your W appreciates this. I'm just really happy for you Peter..it could not have happened to a better man..

Keep working..I'm sure you know, you have to work at this everyday.

Well, thanks, but enough about me.

We are supposed to be gnashing our teeth about the next crisis. So what gives?

gm23 - I am walking about a mile above cloud 9 these days, thanks for the kind words.

Both W and I have next week off. Early in the week, we are taking SD8 and a friend camping for a few days. Then late in the week, W and I have a few days alone -- I've booked a place near the coast that looks nice. The week will be a nice mix of family and couples time. Also the first vacation together since the pre-bomb Disney disaster. It is really great seeing W getting excited about it.

XOM hasn't appeared or tried to contact in a couple of days. I keep waiting for it, but maybe he has finally got the message. I expected some evidence of XOM-withdrawal from W, but haven't seen it yet. She has been calling or texting me a few times every day to tell me she loves me or misses me. Life is good.

You get more time off than anyone I know! Must be that doctor thing, huh? I just wanted to let you know that I am keeping up on your progress and am glad that things are going well for you. We are going to watch a couple of girlie flicks probably while you are camping and lodo is off in Scotland, so you won't feel left out.

Would your wife like to watch in our movie group? The more the merrier.

I get 6 weeks a year, but try to take a week each month during the summer since the warm weather is so brief here. I take most of the rest of the time for winter skiing. It makes up for the occasional 36 hour stretches of work.
