Well game over, she filed today. Her lawyer contacted me today about having me served. Basically once I sign that I've been served it should be 4 weeks to the court date where a judge will declare us divorce.
Not the end I had hoped and prayed for but it's closure which in itself after 19 months does bring about a sense of peace. I do wish her the best, I hope she can find herself and find happiness and maybe someday we can find a way to at least be loving friends again. Most of all I hope this new boyfriend doesn't break her heart.
All in all I'm sad, feeling a little sorrow but also feeling some peace. I'm also feeling really sad for our girls because they have hoped, prayed, wish and looked for their family to be restored. D11 becomes D12 on Sunday, what a great birthday present. In no way will I allow either of them to know about this until next week.
