Okay - W just called. Said she was interested in what I was doing and just wanted to chat. So we did.
In one way it's hard - I miss our close friendship. But I appreciate that we can still talk and share. Better than nothing, right? It's been harder, but I'm glad I took the high road and worked through the pain to reach a more comfortable place that may eventually continue to include W as a friend.
