((((hoosier)))

I'm sorry you're having such a rough time.

What things can you do for yourself this weekend to help pick your PMA back up a little bit? Something that really helps to recharge you. You deserve it and need it right now, I think.

Planning on trying to clean up and organize my house, hoping that it will provide us with a more peaceful environment. Doing a few crafty things, I hope. Sleeping in tomorrow morning for sure! I need to laugh, I need to do something physically tiring. Also, I should be a little more hormonally balanced in a day or two. That will be very helpful.

Hi, Puppy--

Oh yeah. Saturday mornings, gotta love 'em.

Tiring stuff...yep, my IC suggested I do some walking. Geez--I'd have to sweat to do that especially in this weather. I've been waking up at 4:30-5:00 am consistently, and I'm exhausted. Partly stress, partly being a woman in my 50's. It's getting old.

I'm better, thanks. And thanks so much for your note on that other thread that I just happened across. Little contact with H today (he's under the weather), a little chill-out time, a little less PMS and I'm a lot less overwhelmed. One job possibility too; just sent an online app for something with apparently good hours, good pay--and good benefits. Not much has changed externally, I'm just coping a better at this point. Thanks so much, Puppy.

Oh drat--I made it to 7 am; guess that's an improvement over 4:30. Woke up with a screaming headache and financial worries racing thru my brain.

Hoosiermama-
yes it is an improvment. Have you seen yoru PCP and asked for something to help you sleep better? I did and it worked....they have many things out there that aren't habit forming and work really well. You will feel and see a difference in your mood after a solid nites sleep! Esp after all the crappy sleep you've been getting...

what are you going to do today that is GALing for yourself?

Thanks, Neil. Actually I have an appt this week and I can ask then. Been thinking about trying some herbals; I took valerian in my last month of pregnancy to help me sleep and it was great. I know it will help me fall asleep, don't know if it will help me stay asleep.

I need to do some pool stuff, some things to get my house in order so that I can feel a little less chaotic, hope to work on making some jewelry for a friend's upcoming wedding. I have a church thing that will take up much of my afternoon. That's about it.

Only have time for a quick post - but for sleep wanted to suggest melatonin. It helps me a LOT for sleeping - both falling and staying asleep. I've seen products that combine valerian and melatonin too - good combo.

Thanks, NikB--I should have thought of that too! Valerian is great but it smells and tastes like dirty socks....
