Conversation, she told me he made her feel confident. Made her laugh. I've really been working on the conversation. I mean, we've always talked, but I think she felt like I dominated the conversations. Since she's shared that with me, I've let her do almost ALL the talking in conversations. I think that he made her feel confident because in our conversations, I'm the typical guy, when our wives ask us something or complain about something, we try to fix it and she saw that as me "fixing" her. So because he didn't try to fix her and prop'd her up, she felt confident around him. I've really been working on that too. I guess I'm like most guys in I didn't understand the difference in the ways women and men communicate. I read Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus and it talks a great deal about that very thing.
I can see how women would think the way they do, but it's not my intention to "fix" her. We just think if a woman asks us something or complains about something, they want an answer, and many times they don't. They just want to be heard.
