Sweetie, of course you can be my role model. You are holding it all together so well. I was just watching sex and the city. Carrie turns 35 and no one shows up for her dinner birthday party. Tears were shed but just a few. The weather forcast calls for party sunny skies with occasional showers anticipated. I'll keep my kleenex handy.

I don't feel as if a weight has lifted off of my shoulders like some of my friends said. Of course it hasn't been filed yet. I doubt that there will be any hesitation on his part.
I suppose it will be some sort of relief and I won't be so anxious. I have dreaded the weekends as much as I have enjoyed them because they have meant one less week of being married. Does anyone else have that sort of feeling?
So maybe I will just be happy to have my weekends back without any meaning attached to them.

I didn't have any weights lifted either. It's a process, kat. Everything you are dealing with the day before it is official, you will be dealing with the day after. But, the changes you have made in yourself so far will still be a part of you as well. And the work you have done and the changes you have made will allow you to get through this and eventually flourish. I know you will.

Does anyone see the changes I have made? Sometimes I feel so wrapped up in this mess...I just don't know. I know how I felt back in January and February and it was terrible, but you guys didn't know me then. I feel as if I am moving forward and I do notice where I normally would have pointed something out to my H either verbally or via e-mail, I have held back.
No under my breath barbs, no pointing out that he got us here, no coula, woulda, shouda's. Just sadness.

Yes, I can see you making lots of progress! Nobody expects things to progress without setback along the way, and this is a particularly tough time with the D papers and all. But please try not to get discouraged!
