Ms. Imp, thank you for reminding me about the fitflops... I was meaning to mention them in my post but I completely forgot..
There are a few places in the city that carry them... but I haven't been into the downtown core since hearing about them. I went to the closest mall to get them (last Friday night) only to realize I should have called because the store was sold out. So I called again on Tuesday to see if the new order they were expecting to come in had arrived and it still hasn't. Bummer! I'll probably give them a ring again tomorrow. I can't believe that even Bath and Body Works carries them in the States... sounds like you can get them at lots of places down there.... But not to worry, my legs and buns need these shoes... so I will go above and beyond.. they will be mine!!! Muwhahahaha!!!!!!

I'm amazed that they sell them at the Athen's Airport and yet there are only 6 stores (and the closest one is 17 minutes drive) in my vacinity. Well I followed up at the 17 minutes away store today and they hadn't arrived... but then 30 minutes later I got a call from them that they did come in... so I raced down to the store and got me a pair! In black. And although I will have to sell my car to pay for them (extreme exaggeration but they were expensive).. I have them in my hot little hands.
My only hope now is that my legs and buns will thank me. But that's probably having expectations and I know that those are no nos!
Tonight I am going to see David Beckham play soccer. I am super stoked!!!!!!!!!!! The seats are pretty good so if he does a corner kick from the corner I'm at.. I would think he's be less than 20 feet away!!!! My H seems to be in a really good mood.. likely because of the game... but maybe a little bit of my awesomeness is helping too ( ) He said he wants me to try steak and mushroom pie at the game!

Well, I'm home! D2 had a nice night with my Mom but they are both long in bed now.
D2 and I will be going to the zoo with a friend and her nephew tomorrow so that should be fun (but that means I need to get some rest so I'll have to check on you all tomorrow).
As for the soccer game.. The MLS All Stars won 3 to 2 vs. Westham United. DB didn't score any goals but he has fantastic corner kicks!
I would say that the couple of times he did corner kicks by me he was most definitely about 20 feet. Interestingly enough we saw a few other recognizable faces there tonight (which isn't impossible in Toronto as there are generally stars wandering the town but I don't usually catch a glimpse of them). Rachel McAdams (actually a local Canadian girl) from the movie "The Notebook" was there catching the game. She was sitting a few rows in front of Drew Carey, the comedian. I would say they were probably about 30 feet or so from us. And we also saw Steve Nash. He's an MBA basketball player.. and we are very proud that he's Canadian because I believe he won the MBA's MVP Award a couple of times (which was a first for a Canuck).
Overall a very nice game.. went for a beer before the game... had nice, easy going conversation... H held my hands a couple of times.. then we got to the game.. he bought me a jersey. He said it was the first time he'd ever seen the girl jersey.. it's pink. I looked just now for a picture of it online and couldn't find one. They probably only did it for tonight's game knowing there'd be tons of women there to support DB!
