I guess I never worried about who's older/younger.. though I figure when I go out in the dating pool it might be unsettling. And what about MY standards... it's a whole smorgasbord of schmepp. Don't think I'll go there today!
It's so.. poignant. The actors in the play range from 14 to 24. One of the older guys forgot my name and was saying.. "Mommy, can you help me?" He's in his early 20's, Eastern European and the most gentle guy you'd ever want to know. I don't now, he was towering over me, and kept calling me Mommy. It was very sweet, but I so wanted to be my first name. I mentioned it to a friend. She said we're mommies.. Allie's mom, Anna's mom, Emily's mom.. we're moms.
When I was married it was a good thing to be a mom. Guess it still is.
