thanks everyone! well he emailed me last night and it said- "i had fun with you at dinner, i think we may have gotten into a situation that we should not have at this point..never the less i had fun. thanks for the card and socks- i can alwyas count on you to make me smile. sorry i didnt get you anything, i thought about it for a long time and i thought it would be awkward either way. too much to handle for my pea brain..."
so at first i freaked out, but then i calmed down (w help from my mom) and realized that he was being very sweet and wants to make sure he is being romantic and sort of feels like a schmuk for not getting me anything....
i am just so happy- yet terrified he will tell me it is all just not what he wants...but i dont see that really happening.
i guess i just want this all to be fixed now...
so i just got off the phone with him and he's coming to sign some house docs..it was a nice conversastion- he is a little tense about the house but i was calm and asked him what we needed to do...so we are all good...
he is going away and so am i until next tuesday so it will be another week before i see him, at least....
patience yet again

I think he email is positive. You know how many times my H has freaked out after intimate relations. Well, I don't see the anger, regret in his tone of that email to you at all. Actually I see it more as caring and concern for not wanting to rush things. I see it as him being worried about you. I think there is TONS of hope for your situation, but he is after all the WAS and they have to do things in their time.
Hang in there, stay calm.... your sitch is SO good!

My H felt the same way after we were close for the first time. He left saying that he'd need at least two sessions with his shrink after what happened. The second time he didn't state any kind of remorse and the third he left smiling. Time is key.
I think it's natural for him to say you guys shouldn't have done what you did but on the positive side he said he had fun. Just let it go and don't mention it again. The next time you see him casually try to be a little affectionate again. Maybe touch his shoulder, accidentaly touch his hand...something subtle right?
I hope the house business goes well and yes breathe and relax.

thanks chirs and jen- breathe...i did send him a reply last night that said i enjoyed out time together and it meant a lot to me to cuddle but i understand what he means...then set up meeting for house stuff... i wanted him to know it wasnt a mistake ...twin dad helped me w that...
