I am no St. Catherine. Not a reformer; God put me here to be a comforter, not a firebrand. But thanks for your confidence in my influence! Yes, I'm well aware it's not the Church, it's not even my parish--it's just a few staff members. I'm in the middle of it right now, and I was just struck by the irony of you mentioning working for the Church--right now I'd say I'd find more healthy functional people on the psych unit than on my staff. That's all, that's where I was coming from. Private joke between me and myself.
