Hi lodo -

The artichoke bloomed - I must say that the purple flowers are quite beautiful. The radishes grew too high and most of them are a bit tough. I will replant the better tasting "French Breakfast" radish and we should have some for school lunches. I had a mixture of regular and New Zealand spinach last night for dinner - the kids will be force fed spinach and fresh garden brocoli or cauliflower tonight. The blue berries are overwhelming me, and if I pick a bowl, it disappears when the kids are around. I will make them pick their own berries tonight. And the mint (which needs little care) is taking over like ivy. I am waiting for it to put out some strong tasting buds to make cookies with. I think I will also try to make the mint julep that they serve in Disneyland.

W is wanting me to see if my dad can take care of the kids on Wed as she has to pick up her friend at the airport and then she has an appointment with her L. They are getting close to the dismissal date. I am anxious to see what they do. The kids have told me that W took them to a jewelry shop to get something for OM's BD. And she still keeps saying she is out of money, but yet she drives the gas guzzler SUV all the time. I must remember to believe very little of what she says.
