Life is good and all is well. Knock on wood. Everything is great with FA and his kids. We mostly hang when I come to visit so that is really nice and relaxing for all.
Went to my first drag and hotrod show this past Saturday. I helped FA and his son volunteer for the NHRA. Got to see some cool cars drag race in person. The sound from those cars is so thundering and so much better to see in person. My job, so to speak, because it was voluteering, was to greet guests to the owners suite in the tower. Froze my butt off for that morning though. So bad, my fingers went numb! But by the afternoon, the sun was shining and I was happy! Great group of people at the event. All in all had some fun.
Last night was a great night, too! Got to meet yet another beauty from the boards. F21!
FA and I finally caught up with her last evening for some drinks, food, and convo. It is always so nice to meet someone from the boards and I wished I had met up with her sooner. The best part is putting a name to a face and like so many of us have said before, it was like meeting up with a dear old friend. Anyhow, we had a great time and I hope she did too.
Other than that, just hanging here and still looking at doing some decorating to my house and buying a bike. Saw a nice one recentally but I caved for some reason on buying it. I really enjoy getting out for rides so I need to get one soon while the summer is still here.
