Whenever he asks about the divorce, etc. you say.. "I have a lot to process right now." You know why? Because you do. Draw from how you feel about (my) spouse and apply that to you. Sweetheart, he's playing the same game. Reading your posts makes me see the similarities. Oh goodness, I was hopping mad reading yours. I did/was doing the same things you are. I understand you to a T and at the same time am screaming at the computer.. Immmmppppppp!!!! He's the one with the skewed issues. Don't make them yourssssssssssssssssss!
My sweet imp, you are not a fish to be lured to bait, hooked then slowly drawn in. No! Spit out that hook, don't thank him for using such a pretty lure or using your favorite tasty treats.
You are the incredible, the fantastic, THE Imp!!!!!!!!!!!! You can stand on your own two lovely feet and discover what you need from a relationship, from yourself.
Walk with the radiant smile, talk with that lilting voice because you are one incredible muchacha!
Watch out for the wolves who'll come sniffing because you are so delectable.
Life is your kumquat. You have your fears on one side. You have your dreams on the other. You have your reality in the middle.
Set up an emergency counseling session with your counselor and speak to him about what's going on. Get grounded on what you need versus what you feel emotionally. Being healthy in mind, body and spirit helps you make good decisions.
You've already talked to someone who's been divorced. He can give you direction on what steps to follow. Go interview a few great family law attorneys to find out your legal rights. There's a difference between what is fair and what is self defeating. When in doubt, remember.. you are worth it.
I'm off to take my poor bewildered pooch to the vet. Poor puppy. I'll let you know how she's doing. Give the OM a caress and snuggle from me.. and a hug to you!
