Time to pack up and move on

I am one step closer to buying the house. The owners and I agreed on a price today. We ended up meeting halfway, so it worked out pretty fair. Now I need to get the house inspected. I am expecting that to go off without any problems because everything but the windows was redone or replaced in the past year. I also need to get final approval on the financing which is expected to be no problem as well. I should get the keys the day before I have to be back to work. Too bad it isn't a little sooner. H seems pretty happy for me and the Ds.

So far I have packed up two boxes of sweaters. I guess I'll see what it was like for you BBJ, going through all the memories.

I decided to play nice lastnight and asked the Ds if they wanted to invite H to dinner. H accepted and actually cut out of work much earlier than usual to come. I have decided that for the Ds and my sanity I need to have a resonable friendship with him. I am glad for that, yesterday and today we able to spend time together and talk at Ds competition without any tension. When D got on the ice today we happened to be sitting right in her line of vision. She looked up and saw us and lit up with a huge smile. I am so glad that we are becoming friends so that it makes the Ds' lives somewhat more enjoyable.
