i like the part about "if the pastor has a business card" lol kind of an oxymoron, but i get your point. just making light of the situation ;-)
Some do, its just contact information really. And given his profession HIm passing out his name and number is quite important. he really has to put himself out there for people who need him, that card could save someoen's life some day. He likley knows that.
There's nothing wrong with hiim having a business card to hand out to people who reach out to him or show signs of any interest in his ear.
its just a damn shame yoru wife didn't ask him for his business card instead of going to OM, my guess is your pastor would have shown a lot more concern for her and a LOT more maturity.
