what if the OM is not shoveling crap. just waiting in the wings. how can I beat that ?

Its the same whether he's shoveling crap at her or sitting back casual...he just does more damage if he pressures her.
He will start to pressure her more as he sees signs of her having second thoughts.
If she takes your pastors card and goes and does NOT mention it to OM, that's a really good sign. But you will likely never know that. if she has a female friend she confides in that would pass info back to you that would help but my guess is she doesn't.
