Hey Trixi,

Hope the birthday stuff goes well. Looks like you've put a lot of thought into your gift.

Take care,

Max

Hey Max-
How'd the meeting with your WAW go?

"Wave" to Amy in Coos Bay \:\)
I am now part of the fb group. I am still feel lost in there, but that's okay, I'm sure I'll catch on....hopefully....someday.. LOL

Yeah, I hope H likes his gifts. Last Sunday I gave him an early present of walking sticks for hiking. I know he thought they were sorta stupid to start with, but he sure liked them after he actually used them. Those things are a HUGE help!

Might have friend come over tonight to play Guitar Hero. Took a listing yesterday; showed a 'fixer' this afternoon, doing CMA for 12 unit condo conversion that I hope to get as a listing, attending murder mystery party saturday...I just hope I can squeeze some time in there to get on the torch. \:\)

Hi Trixi,

Meeting is tomorrow, assuming she confirms. Eeek! Feeling quite odd / nervous about it. First time since the "it's over talk" 9 months ago. First time since knowledge of the probable OM too.

Wish me luck.

Have a good weekend.

Max

"Eeek" indeed!

That's such a long time. How do you hope you'll 'be' tomorrow? Friendly and upbeat? Confrontational (in the sense of saying "that wasn't fair to me", not being a jerk)? Strong and cavalier? Peaceful?

Good luck and I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. I hope that whatever YOU want accomplished with the meeting occurs.

Thanks Trixi, long time indeed.

I'm aiming to put her at her ease and be friendly and confident. I guess I want to know what sort of a relationship we might be able to have from this point forward. I'm certainly not going to be confrontational or adding emotion to the sitch deliberately. I think they'll be enough of that on both sides as is.

It's weird, first time I've ever met her when we're 'not together' since getting together.

Thanks once again for the support. What's happening with you? Anything good? How did the present go down?

Max

Yes, I agree there will be plenty of emotions to go around without any 'effort' on your part. Makes *my* stomach gurgley just thinking about what it would be like for you.

I really will be keeping good thoughts for you-- and you have to post how things go!

Present to be presented tonight, so keeping my fingers crossed. I just remembered he said a small cake was fine. Eh. There's no such thing as a small (6x6in) homemade cake. I used to decorate cakes for a grocery store, so I hope he wasn't thinking that he wanted one of *my* decorated cakes. hmm..I guess I could make the batter and just chuck the part I don't use...nah. Not enough time. He'll just have to be happy with store bought.

Nothing new happening, really. Joined fb (you should too) and was greeted by a past client who said "welcome to fb, watch your productivity drop to zero". LOL And I thought lurking around *here* was sucking up a lot of time. ha! But seriously, I am forever grateful for the support and advice given here. And watching other people's stories unfold and how they grow...And the happy endings/beginnings like for SallyM/Morgan. Oh, NikB has a pretty happy ending/beginning too. oops-babbling.

I better scoot; need to make a couple marketing books for my listings.

Good luck for tonight and thanks for the best wishes.

Just a small cake! What's that all about. I make cakes sometimes and do I adjust the quantity for me. Do I ever! Humm I'll get fat soon. Talking of food it's time to eat something I think.

I am on fb. Now how are you all managing to find each other eh?

Just quickly checking in - (((Trixi))) - hi!

Good luck with the gift tonight. Very thoughtful. And it gave me a great idea for my Dad's birthday so thanks for that too! ;\) (Brookstone actually sells a "digital photo album wallet" that has a mini digital frame in it kinda like the keychains - cool eh?).

As for the gift - I think you'll probably see a pretty strong reaction either way. I think he'll either really love it, or go "OMG pressure!" I'm guessing the first. \:\) Either way it should be very helpful for your "what works and what doesn't" list, I think.

Max-
Ever read any of Kalni Sunshine's threads? Sometimes people set up as their screen name here. heh. was that enough?

Nik, a digital wallet? Wouldn't that get broken? I better look it up cuz that sounds like a great gift.

Yeah, I am pretty nervous about how the gift will be "taken". ...I had made up a couple frames with scrapbook paper and some dimensional art and put a couple pics of us from Costa Rica in them. Hung them up in my hallway. On Wednesday I noticed H standing in front of them looking at them. I think he might have said 'cool', but I'm not sure.

RE murder mystery- it's my first one and I am supposed to dress up like the owner of Cactus Court trailer park. Apparently I also designed my own nuclear holocaust bunker....can't decide if I want to do ratty robe, curlers, cigarette in one hand, beer in the other OR a rich version of trailer trash. You know, costume jewelry, heavy make up, still a cigarette in one hand, but maybe a martini in the other... not sure how the bunker fits into owning a trailer park. I need to really figure out just exactly 'who' my character is and what motivates her. LOL \:\)
