Is the house something you would want to keep or be able to keep on your own? Just until the market gets better?

I don't think it hits them that they are going to have to do things on their own. It takes a while for reality to set in.
When I told my H that he would have to get his car in his name only, take over the insurance, and contribute to the mortgage until the house was sold he got angry and told me I was being spiteful. Right. I'm spiteful because I won't pay for his car and insurance.
