I'm glad the pagent went well. I'm not a big fan of kiddie pagents for various reasons but if your DD likes them then thats great. It's wonderful when kids take an interest in things.
I'm glad things are also going well with the W! But remember don't jump to conclusions about things. Look what happened...you thought she was faking feeling sick and it turned out that she was actually sick! I'm queen of assumptions so I know they get us into trouble.

When you H comes up to help out with the house...perhaps a driving lesson might help break up the "work" of cleaning up the house. This will help build some confidence in your H around you and you said he was good at teaching you.

Actually it made me remember something about my sitch - do you mind me digressing on your thread?? About 3 weeks before my h left we bought a new car together, financed it together and everything. That doesn't sound to me like him leaving was planned or anything. Most strange... anyway strange seems to be the theme of my situation (sigh).
Hey TwinDad, Not sure if I've posted to you before, but I have followed your thread for awhile. Just wanted to comment on the purchasing thing...
We made several large purchases both during the bad times before piecing and then during our our short time in piecing. We bought motorcycles, upgraded our kitchen counters, LCD TV.
When I look back on it, it seems like an attempt to fix what was wrong with material things. If we have these things, we'll be happier. If we buy this, things will be normal.
I don't want to sound negative or even suggest that this is what is happening with you. I guess it just goes to show you that you can interpret things any number of ways. If you make major purchases and everything stays good, maybe it was part of the piecing process. If things don't go so well, you might look back and see it as a failed attempt to fix a sinking ship.
Things do sound like they are continuing to go well for you. Keep it up.
Thanks for the input....I really do appreciate it. We went through a period like that as well before the sep. At one point prior to the sep we were going to have another child and move to another state.....then she did a 180 on me pretty much saying what you are saying. I am remaining cautiously optimistic. Worse case scenarion is that I have less money to worry about....lol. I don't know which way this is, but things do seem to "feel" pretty good in the last several weeks.....little tension, lots of laughs, etc.
Thanks for stopping by

Just wanted to pop in and say hello to you and introduce myself. Your thread is very positive and I want to say that way myself. I haven't read all your posts, but I am going to add you to my watch list and see where this all goes. Hope you don't mind me saying so, but I'm really happy you are working it out. Good for you.
Yes, I have a thread and would very much like you to read it. It's called "Advice from my DB coach." LOL. Though, I've only had two sessions with her and haven't been able to do everything she said, sadly. I bet if I listened, things would start looking up.
