All settled in 250 miles apart

She just texted back and we had a brief conversation. yes to play date with the puppy on Sunday but on the way down on Friday night I will stop in so we can go see the new Batman movie. We had talked about that three weeks ago and she still wanted to do that.

It was only about 4 texts long but she beat me to the end and was very abrupt. I hate that part. It’s like we are both just sitting on our couches testing but now it has to be over, ok whatever. But I am smart enough to know that it was a good thing over all and I am not going to let that hang over my head. Kind of like beggars can't be choosers except I no longer see myself as a beggar.

Bottom line, two more opportunities to be her friend, support school and keep my mouth shut. Making them sweet friendly, but brief encounters, hopefully leaving her wanting more or something like that.
