Went to a friend's 50th birthday party last night. On the way there H commented how he'd never been to friend's house before. I told him he HAD, because I remember going with him a few years ago. He insisted he hadn't been. I then reminded him about how he had looked at the wooden railings on the back deck when we were there before. He said he remembered that, but I'm not sure if he wasn't just placating me to cover up the fact that he couldn't remember. (Now if it was ME,it would be normal for me to forget something like that, but it is REALLY not like my H).
Meanwhile his ER doc friend took him out surfing yesterday. 4 freakin' days after a serious concussion and his friend is telling him it's okay to surf! I even sent my H the guidelines for concussions - in theory, H shouldn't be doing any contact sports for 3 months. But at the very LEAST, he should be out of any sports for a week. But what do I know? I'm just his doctor wife, can't compete with his ER doc surf buddy. GRRRRRRRR
