You deserve an award for your patience, persistence and sweetness. I think the world of you. Your wife is so lucky to be married to you -- even with all your faults (Ha!). You are such a great man.
I'm concerned that your wife is just one of those people that can never be happy. I feel so bad for her. I wish more than anything that she could open her heart and mind to the joys life (and being married to you) have to offer.
Maybe we should anonymously send a book on happiness to her? If you gave one to her, she wouldn't accept it with an open heart. But if she received one from some other state, without a name, with just a brief note....? I don't know. I'm just trying to figure out a way to reach her.
I'll even volunteer to be the anonymous source, I'll go buy the book(s), I'll pay for shipping. I just want to help you, sweet Jeff!
