FG, what are you talking about?

Journal:

Well last night went pretty smooth. She came to pick up the kids. I handed her a pizza we had gotten. She asked why I was giving her the whole thing. I said well you can feed them tomorrow with it on your day off.

Getting into the car, my son mouthed off to his mother. I right away said son do not talk to your mother in that way and in that tone of voice she is not a piece of dirt. Then I looked at both of my children and told them. You both have been guilty of smart mouths to your mother, to your grandmother, and you two need to stop doing that.

Then my wife and I were standing at the back of the explorer loading the giant pizza box. I had to take out a hockey net of my daughters. Then we just stood there and talked a little. She was eating pizza and said I shouldn't be eating this. It will make me fat, and I'm getting fat again. I said dear you were never fat and you are certainly not fat now. She said yeah right. I said I think you need to get over it. You are not fat, nor were you ever fat.

Then she started walking away and said do you want a hug. I said well I'm not going to ask for one. If you want to give me a hug then give me a hug. Then she gave me a hug, and I kissed her on the cheek, because she gave me the cheek to kiss.

Then I just kind of stood there looking at her and she slowly backed up and she drove away.

Good thing... disciplined children to respect their mother.
Validated that she was never fat nor is fat.
Received affection by her initiation.

Keeping the lighthouse shining!
