Fortune cookie might be harder to pull off unless that happens to be one of your many culinary skills.

Mints on the pillow are super nice. How could you make sure she read the note attached though?

Are the boys ever out of the house leaving just you and W alone?

If that rare occasion ever presented itself you could do the Pina Colada or Margarita on the patio idea but not leave her a note in advance. Tack a note to the front door (or whatever door she uses to enter the house) saying "Follow the yellow brick road" and use only yellow post-it notes. Leave the next note about two feet inside the door saying "follow", next "getting warmer", next "curious now?", next "how about now?", keep leaving them all the way to the patio and be waiting there with drinks, music, and snacks.
