I'm not sure!!! I just know he lives in SD and I'm not even sure when he'll be back. I think his tour was 6 mos and he's been there for about a month now........

However, now that I'm FREE from that nasty little part time job, I can be there anytime!!! So if there's a gathering in the works, let me know, OK?

Of course you can use it. I'd also like to find French or Italian classes but haven't found any that aren't online. I know enough Spanish to order chicken, wine and find the bathroom so feel like I'm pretty fluent.

Yes, I talked to her a couple of days ago and will probably call her tonight. My sis will be there tomorrow.

Don't remember if I told you but my Mom got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and fainted, fell on her face. She broke her nose, has 2 black eyes and a concussion. Doctor said something about it being related to her bladder...whatever that's supposed to mean???

I'm planning on going down for about a month after my Dad is gone.......unfortunately. I have to show her how to put gas in her car, which completely cracks me up!!!

Qoe, I have friends who had this happen to their mums.
Bladder infections can cause alsorts of problems in the elderly. My one friend her mum appeared to have dementia because of it.
The other started getting confused and agitated, memory loss etc.
Hope the infection got cleared up. I guess a mini bleed could have caused the black out/faint.

stop laughing now! cos my son had to show me which hole the windscreen wash went in.

Thanks for the info, Naej. Yes, the doc told my mom that this is common.

And....I'm sure my mom isn't even aware that she has to refill her windshield washer fluid!!!

I guess like me your mum had a traditional marriage where the man does man things and the woman did woman things.
I used to be so ashamed that I didn't know how to do things like that but now I can live with it.
I remember sobbing the first time I tried to cut the grass with the big petrol mower-I just wasn't strong enough, then a neighbour showed me it had a throttle? and it propelled it'self I only needed to steer!
Yet it was me who planted, designed and tended the gardens.Over the years I had made many gardens in new homes from scratch I just never did the lawns.
I find a SOH overcomes most problems plus a nice little man who "does"
