Hmm, does she have fast or slow speech patterns? Is she very polite in conversation, or is she comfortable interrupting?

What I'm getting at here is that maybe right now she needs you to JUST listen to whatever she wants to talk about.

My H claims I never LET him talk, that I always interrupted him. I never saw it that way. But looking at myself now, I realize I talk a lot faster than him, I ramble more. And my friends know they can just interrupt me (either to ask questions, comment, or even go off on a tangent) and I won't be the least bit offended, but he would never do that. His family is VERY polite in conversation and wouldn't dream of talking over someone!
