I see her pretty much every evening, at least for a while. Though we rarely talk much. She'll talk about/complain about work sometimes, or S18! To me, it feels like she pretty much shuts down any conversation I'll try to start. And so, suprisingly, I don't try to start very many.
Most mornings I dont' see much of her. Even when I do we rarely say more than good morning, if that. When school starts next week there may be some schedule adjustment, but I don't expect that we will talk any more.
I was kind of hoping that the mirror might give her something relatively safe to talk about. But, so far, that doensn't seem to be the case.
