Finished everything I had on my desk and wrote boss a nice letter, hugged all my co-workers and left.
YIPPY!!! I really will miss my co-workers a lot. They are the best bunch of people (next to y'all, of course) ever!!!
Made a list of things I need to get done, phone numbers to call and have a hair appt later today. One thing on my list is to visit a new gym that opened here in town. The current one I belong to doesn't have a lot of the classes that I like.
Jill you EARNED your retirement. Your last job was there for a season, enjoy your travel and then, knowing you, you will decide to find something to occupy yourself on a part time basis.
Even as I type this, you could volunteer your organizational skills as an unpaid volunteer for worthy charitable organizaitons that really tug on your heart. Plenty of time for that down the road.
First things first, tending to your family:
Quote:
"Lord today I and my of Jill's friends on the board, come to you in agreement, petitioning that you comfort her entire family but especially her mom. Minister to her over there as she braces for her loss, bring your angels, human and otherwise, to soothe her heartache and to bring her peace. Help her with all she is facing. Also, bring a peace to Jill, now that she is able to help as she feels led to do. We thank you that you have brought MG into her life, that he can be the rock that she needs at this time. Do show her how You also, desire to be that never failing comforter for those who choose to make you so. May you bless her in a supernatural way, that she knows it came from you and you alone, this day. I petition you in the name of your Son, Jesus. Amen."
You know I am continuing to keep you in prayer. (((Jill)))

Yay Jill! Although I wish it were me. Had I known that I would be in this position I might have thought twice about staying home with those ungrateful little rugrats of mine for as long as I did. Oh not really. I have no regrets in that department, plenty in others, but not there.
So when do you leave? I know you must have something in the works!
Thanks, BD, K and especially C2 for the beautiful prayer.
I don't have anything big planned yet because of the situation with my Dad. However, this weekend I'm going to Lake MI, CHI at the end of the month and probably FL when I return from there. In the works, MG and I are thinking about taking a week and going to the east coast as neither of us have ever been there. Also, when his son returns from Kuwait in a few months, we'll be going to SD to meet him. Bigger plans is my yearly trek with BF and we're hoping for Greece. We'll see. We've tried to find good deals on Greece before and ended up in Belize or Tahiti instead.
Right now, just writing up my list of "things to do." Want to get a dog run installed and some landscaping done around it.
