Hi all - spoke to H on the phone last night - he is gone on a trip with S11. Still depressed, but still with insight into the fact - he commented that he didn't get his prozac before the trip and probably should have - I know he's struggling to have a good time through his depression, it's just too bad that this is dampening what should be a fabulous trip - snowboarding in South America with our most athletic child! I mean, he is having a good time - but not like he would have had without the depression.
S11 is having a blast - came in second in a slalom race against teens and adults - I'm sure he's stoked! And now he's very motivated to improve his Spanish (which he will have in school this year) - so that he can get a summer job as a snowboard instructor when he's a teenager!
I went to an art festival yesterday with my mom and daughter - ended up buying a beautiful photo of Mt. Whitney
