Wow - better move myself off of the second page. Body for life - finishing week three. Need to be a little more consistent, and face the fact that I have to be more stringent with my diet if I want to move off of this weight plateau. But man, you should see my arms! Linda Hamilton in Terminator 2 will have nothin' on me when I'm done!
The goal setting, journaling part of the program is still my biggest challenge, and I realize it's the lesson I really need to learn, as I am a little "organizationally challenged" elsewhere in my life. There just always seems to be more things to get done than I can squeeze into a day, and H is really needing me to go back to work (he told me he'd start back on Prozac if I'd get a job!).
Part of the problem is that I've been out of practice so long now with my illness, it's a little intimidating to go back. But mostly it's that I'd really like to do something different - write, run a medical website, somehow teaching and communicating with the lay public on health issues. So I really need to figure out how to do both - and that would take about 10 extra hours in each day! Anybody got any extra time they want to send me?
Maybe I should start a thread in the Just for Fun section on career development?
