On the way to Colorado from Florida we pass through Texas. One night at midnight we failed to stop at the last hotel in Fort Worth. But there was a sign that said Wichita Falls 60 miles. So we thought OK, we'll go one more hour to Wichita Falls. Then as we drove from Fort Worth to Wichita Falls the signs seemed to have put up willy-nilly. Sometimes we thought Wichita Falls was getting close, but then the next sign said it was even further away. We never did figure it out.
Your method of counting the days reminds me of the signs to Wichita Falls. Wasn't it 2 days just 2 day ago?
