You should count the rows from the front of the plane to where you are seated and also to the window exit, depending on where you are seated of course. You never know if there might be smoke and you would need to get down low and not so easy to just "see" the exit. Also good to know if an exit becomes blocked. End of pre-flight lesson today, back to our regularly scheduled program...

I do not own a pair, but I am trying to grow a pair.
g, you never fail to make me smile.
I love Manolo, but think I'm more of a Jimmy Choo girl (not that I own a pair of either, but, sigh, if I had a bazillion dollars to build a shoe wardrobe...
Annnnyyyywaaaaay, back to you, gForce. Best of luck finding just the right fit for your new home.

Yes there was actually. We had to practice the "Demo" so many times. It is required by the FAA. I think all the attendants could be half naked during that and not a person would notice!!
If you were half naked, you would have my undivided attention. Especially during the "pointing" parts.

So made an offer on a place. There are alleged pics somewhere. If I could just remember where I put them...
There will likely be some back and forth before it is final, but I'm pretty confident it will happen. Now all I need to do is sell my current place so I can afford the darn thing! It's nice to have a place there, and thinking about radon, carpets, painting and such - makes the whole move thing more concrete.
So, I am backing out of movie night. Please don't change or reschedule it for me. But I found out Robert Plant & Alison Krauss are playing in Philly Saturday night. It would be my only chance to see them so it was a must-see show. (And Kat, if you could come out here, I'd take you with me) Sorry!

I knew a Jimmy Choo in high school. He never had any girls then, and he definitely didn't rate a bazillion dollars. Just another member of the nerdy asian guy club.

I think for your house you need to think your daughter will be there too sometimes and you really never do know what the future holds! kat
Another thing is, don't know how many bedrooms you are looking at, but my fil bought a house in Palm Beach with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and it was gorgeous-designed by an architect, all white and sunny, and wood floors, etc and 1 block from the beach--but he had a horrible time selling it because even retirees wanted more room for when grandkids stayed or whatever, and maybe b/c they realized it is harder to sell a house that isn't 3 or 4 bedrooms. Just a thought! I know it seems silly to have extra rooms and everything, but think you could turn one into a gym, a guest room, another into a library, etc.... Karen
