I'll throw in my 2 cents with SD on the forgiveness thing. It doesn't mean to condone - not at all. It just means to let go of the pain, allow yourself to move on and stop digging at that old wound. IMHO, you don't even have to tell STBX if you don't want to - it's ALL about YOUR feelings. So do it, friend!
