You had a bit more control in the situation than I do. Where as you filed and could put the brakes on, my H did the filing and only he can stop it. I just can't figure out why now he thinks they have his earnings wrong when they had his pay stubs before. Maybe he is hesitating? I will try to not read to much into it.

He even called me Honey while I was putting a bigger band aid on D7's knee yesterday. he thought I should leave it alone. Whatever, probably just a habit.

Though I did see a cardninal today and I still haven't prayed for my marriage the last 3 nights.

Who filed wasn't the point. The point is that it took a COMPLETE CHANGE OF HEART on my wife's part, and then another COMPLETE CHANGE OF HEART on MY part in order to stave it off. And I NEVER saw it coming.

I am so furious right now. My L just called, it seems hubby quit his second job a couple of months ago. So now he is making about what he was before this last raise of $500.00 a month!!!! The kicker is he has worked a part time job for the past 12 years!! I am wondering if his L didn't suggest he do this so he wouldn't have to pay me so much and then he could file bankruptcy and pick up 2nd job for extra cash and he would come out smelling fresh as a daisy. What a low down no good son of a witch with a B. I would beat him to pulp right now if I saw him.

Do you get I am mad( and hurt but mostly mad)??

What does L say about how this will affect things? In some states, moves made after the D filing that would affect the financial situation may not affect the final settlement. Calm, kat. Anger is the path to the dark side...

Sorry I just got back from C. L is supposed to call me in about 20 minutes and then I will see how this will effect everything. What pray tell have I ever done to him to make him treat me so badly?

I would think so too. It reminds me of my H trying to get me to get a full-time job this year so he won't have to pay alimony. I think they are all looking out for #1 in MLCland. My other thought is I wonder why your H just brings this up now if he quit the job several months ago??? That seems kind of weird. Karen

I am wondering if he didn't perjure(sp?) himself. I know he was under oath at the pre-trial and I will have to ask L if he was asked if there had been any changes in the status of the documents( or something like that). It would do him good to sit in jail for a couple of days!! But then I can't swear that anything like that was asked. 4 more minutes before the L calls.
