Awwww! How sweet about your parents! My parents would have been married 50 years if my Dad had lived that long. As it was they made it to 47. The doted on and were devoted to each other. In some ways I feel like it "set me up"! I had the expectation that my M would be the same.

I had read somewhere that the chances of getting D are much smaller if your parents and your spouses parents are not D. Well, ExH's mom and dad were married OVER 50 years and then his dad died.
