So how far will you be from NYC? As far as the house hunting pretend that you are buying Milano Blaniks(sp?)and I am sure you will take enough time deciding. How are feeling about all of it?

I assume those are shoes you are talking about? Expensive ones I guess? Remember, I may sound girlie - but this is a GUY you are talking to.

To be honest, kat, it is very sobering. There are not a lot of decent homes for single guys. We looked at a lot of houses that were just too much for me. The realtor said -- yea, but you never know what can happen in the future.

Don't I know that's true! But looking for homes with W (and even with XW) had the excitement of building a home for family together. I look through rooms with kids' stuff in them and feel really alone. There are also a lot of homes with stuff partially moved out - makes me wonder how many homes I am looking at are on the market because of their owners going through D themselves.

On the other hand, this home is mine. I keep thinking of how I'll make it mine without going through the W-review process. So it is exciting in a different way.

Do you never watch Sex and the City??!! Yes very expensive shoes, no I don't own a pair. I am glad that you will be so close to your daughter.

I think for your house you need to think your daughter will be there too sometimes and you really never do know what the future holds! I have been to Allentown when I was a flight attendant but don't remember much about it. Is it close to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton?

Ok guys, I think you are talking about Manolo Blahnik shoes... I don't own a pair either but since shoes are my fetish, when I finally get the chance or the money (whichever comes first) I will...

Never actually watched S&TC. There was a funny bit, I think on Conan OBrien, where they went to the movie theater and stopped guys coming out of the S&TC movie and asked each of them "So - which are you -- Gay or Whipped?"

I look forward to having D in the new place and setting up her room there. In terms of the future, I'm not really taking into consideration anyone else in my future. While I am open to possibilities, it's a little silly making home decisions based on a figment of my imagination. WB/S is a little over an hour north from Allentown.

I gotta ask you - when you were training to be a flight attendant - was there a course on how to point to those emergency exits? I've never seen anyone point that way in any other situation, but all flight attendants seem to do it the same way!

Hey, K! Well, leave it to the internet, what did we do without it --
http://www.manoloblahnik.com

I do not own a pair, but I am trying to grow a pair.

Yes there was actually. We had to practice the "Demo" so many times. It is required by the FAA. I think all the attendants could be half naked during that and not a person would notice!!

I'm still impressed!

kat..

I always look for the nearest exits, but don't pay attention to how to buckle my seat belt. Pre 9/11 I tried to see how hard it would be to remove the seat cushion in case I needed a flotation device.

One thing I heard, is that if there is an emergency, get out of the plane as fast as you can, even if it means you're vaulting over the seats to get to there.

*hugs*
