I hope your D is fine Kat, doesn't sound like your H has a clue. Its important that the parents remain calm

I have dealt with a lot of cuts and scrapes, tell them to apply preasure with a folded papertowel. Like you said insta-bandage stuff doesn't work on larger cuts.

D seeems fine, All smiles with band-aids on her knee. H called ask-a-nurse and she said clean it, butterfly bandaids and a big band aid. Then we need to change it in 2 days. I told H I could handle that, no need for him to come over to change band-aids.

He acts like I don't know what I am doing!!

As for Saturday we are watching "The Italian Job"(the newer version) and "Must Love Dogs". I need to double check the time. We thought one for the guys and one for the girls or something for everybody. Hope you will join us.

She's a trooper. Got a band aid on her knee and a smile on her face. 7 is such a sweet age, all she wants is Mommy, hugs and kisses! What an ego boost for me!

I wish I could watch movies with you all. However I no longer have a DVD player / VCR hooked up to my broken tv. I have been wanting to watch movies now for awhile, but currently am unable to.

Kat, so glad your D is alright!!! I was wondering if she might need stitches from what you said--I thought that was so scary when my son got them!

Kat, I get that too, you know. Maybe it's because they like to think they are very important and essential to our families that they like to think we can't handle things and the entire family would crumble without them? I know my H thinks that about his job that he can't ever take a day off or his office will fall apart! Or maybe they are scared to find out that we can do fine without them? Karen

Also glad to hear D's knee was OK. Boy, you and the family have been accident-prone! Wear knee/elbow pads and a helmet for a while. Even during movie night. It will just be safer.

See I said give me all the bad stuff now so that I can get it out of the way. Last year when we had lots of things breaking, I told H, God was trying to tell us something. Well now the D is pending, car wreck and D7 gets hurt...I think God is talking again but I doubt that H will listen.
