Ack!
I hate this question... I can never answer it!

Maybe, you call her, but follow her lead? Give her the opportunity to say something, but don't bring it up yourself? Hopefully there will be other opinions, I don't feel nearly as strong on this one as I do on others!

Hopefully there will be some early east coast risers...

What does you gut say? How do you think she'll react to something like an ecard?

You have to acknowledge the day somehow. Ignoring it will piss her off (my opinion). Definately DON'T send anything that says "Happy Anniversary" that will only remind her how UNHAPPY she is.
"Thinking of you" pretty much says that you realize what day it is, and yet it's pretty non-threatening.
Leave it at that. Don't get sappy. Don't make it long. VERY SIMPLE, just acknowledge the day. I would do a text message instead of the ecard. Ecards always play pretty music and get too sappy.

MY OPINION ONLY!

Ladybug's opinion feels right. Make sure she knows you didn't forget, but don't make a big thing of it. Either a very non-sappy ecard, or a text sounds right to me, too. I like the ecard idea, mostly because it feels less to me like it needs a response.

I will be sending an ecard, something just to acknowledge the day, nothing sappy..
