Well I finally got a thread locked...pretty stoked about that!!
Well anyways a little update on me, myself, and I. Called the FIL to talk to my son. He started to ask me all sorts of questions about me and the W. I felt like I should tell him what is going on. He said don't worry about anything, that he considers me as his own son! So I started to tell him all the crappy stuff that has been happening and how I think she is with another man. He replied that he thinks she is having an MLC and got totally pissed because he said it was unfair to our family! I tried to end the conversation at that, but told him in no way do I think badly of my W, even tho all this crap is going on I still love my W. Maybe I am stupid for having these feelings still but it is hard to throw away 13 years!
So I got to talk to my kids and hear how great Nebraska is..lol! My son got ticked off at me because I did not know what army vehicle he was talking about so he said I am done talking to youbecause you don't know, my son is a fireball and makes me laugh which I needed. He then got back on and told me he loved me and misses me, that makes a person feel all warm and fuzzy inside! Talked to my D and she is bored as all get up. Hard to keep a teenager happy when she has to leave her social life behind to go to dreaded Nebraska! Oh well she will cope, she still has her myspace to live on.
As far as the W goes I have had no contact and suprisingly no one else has either since saturday...kind of makes me worried. The landlady called me today because she went to the house to pick up rent which of course my W did not put in the mailbox, priorities you know, and she was wondering where my W was. I told her she was in Cali and she was furious that she did not put the check in there. I love the landlady as she has been awesome to us. She asked me if I can go to the house to write a check for her. I am thinking I should let it go so my W can face the consequences of being stupid!!
Anyways that is all for now will post later if anything changes.

I understand that blood is thicker than water and I just wanted to let him know. He assured me that no matter what he is not getting involved. He does not want any part of this, and said I have to support my daughter but I also have to support my son.
Hopefully it doesn't come back to bite me in the a$$ but we will see.

Yes right now the kids are the most important thing concentrate on them & yourself, get your head together cause it going to get tougher when W gets back so take this time a prepare buddy.
P.S. never been able to figure that out either I asked MFT months ago to show me how and he stiffed me, so feel special

Just checking on ya. Sounds like you are in a better frame of mind now. If you need IL advice, just ask. Don't know if you remember but I'll be living with my MIL til the end of the year. Although MIL and I have always been friends, you do have watch what you say. I actually use mine to my advantage....I give her little bits of stuff I want W to know about. That's how W found out about my friend because we've been talking on the cell phone.
I don't see anything wrong with your convo with FIL but that's about as deep as you want to get with him. Just surface talks. I sure am nervous for you when W gets home (when is that). Maybe you send W a quick text about the rent....maybe you'll also find out where she is as well. Its not like you're checking on her but rent is a pretty important subject. Just a thought.
