I am in a mood of anticipation as to what exciting things will happen this week. Life is very full with activities with my kids, church work etc.
Choose Him! Kind of a reminder to myself. Over the weekend I had a choice to to go an anniversary party of a coworker or to go fellowship with some of my closest friends. I had really been feeling the itch to dance and it was a 70's - 80's theme so I decided to go to the party with my best friend but at the last miniute he had to cancel (his child was sick).
Ultimately, even though I was being drawn to go fellowship, I went to the party which was disappointing because there was NO ONE to dance with It was small, mostly family sitting at tables, paired up as couples.
On Sunday, my friends told me they were all looking for me and that they had the most amazing time.
I can hardly think of a time that I went to fellowship or went to a gathering that was church related where I had a bad time. On some occasions, it was uneventful but the huge majority left me feeling so refreshed, energized, thankful, joyful and a whole host of other emotions, all positive.
Next time I am faced with a similar situation, I will choose Him, for He never disappoints me.
Lesson learned! (again)
