Just in from watering. Garden is coming along great - I've got a few tomatoes that are almost ready to pick, a variety of hot chilies that have started to produce fruit, and the flowers and grasses are all happy. I discovered a fairly rare wildflower usually only found in the eastern US growing amongst the ivy.
My nectarine and apricot trees have ripened all at once and I can't deal with this much fruit, so the squirrels and birds are enjoying themselves. At first my cats were interested, but there were too many close calls with falling fruit!
I don't think I'm shining too much of a light anymore - just being friendly whenever she decides to make contact.
Just realized there is less than a month before I leave for Scotland - I've gotta figure out what I'm going to do and get my tickets!
