I kind of miss the days of glitter poles, swimming pools filled with lime jello, and of course a through trashing of the shack with raunch and debauchery

OK, I am about to become invisible. The Interenet hookup I paid for on May 12 has not yet occurred despite all my best efforts. It is now planned for July 10. So....
Well I designed a really cool wine rack this week (only while on my breaks of corse) so this weekend I'm going to build it. I'm also going to start a batch of watermelon and a batch of strawberry/rubarb wine.
I don't have any other set plans but most likely I'll go spend some time at the lake or go do some tubing down the river. Sometimes a long spontainious weekend is the best kind.

It for sure is All, thats how I like to go about most things, trips and holidays, drives me a tad crazy when others have to have some itinerary for every second.

Had dinner w/ the gang, now I'm home. Hot and tired! B is bringing over some fireworks, but my dad is on about how they are really crackin down this year, butttt in the back yard near the pool, thats harmless right??? I cant imagine a 4th of july without Red Devil safe and sane

I've been so busy lately that I missed the fireworks here. I guess that's good, because at least I'm not in trouble - whatever it was about.
Hope your 4th was great despite the ban on fireworks. My daughter had a great 4th party and ever better fireworks than I expected. And I didn't have to clean up a mess - she does.
