My personal favorites:

1) "Hey, this is hard for me too, you know..."

2) Said in therapy, after counselor pointed out the substantial positive changes I've made:

-"OK, sure, you've changed some important things, but you're still being REactive instead of PRoactive because you wouldn't have done any of those things if I hadn't complained!!!"

(when I pointed out I was in no-win situation, b/c if I hadn't changed, she'd complain, and now that I *have* changed she still complains, she tried arguing with me...until the counselor, THANK GOD, calmed us down and pointed out that I was absolutely right).

-"This is just something I need to do."

-"You know, if you think about it, you actually brought all this pain on yourself." (all it took was a DeNiro-esque head-tilt and "are you f-in kiddin' me?" smirk from me before she rapidly apologized for THAT one...)

n2m-
I love this. Didn't you start the threads "You know it's MLC when..."? Those threads very hilarious too. Newbies, you should try to look those up. If I can find the threads, I will post a link.

I suggest making the doll hollow because I don't know how many times I heard "I feel empty inside".

Thanks for the laughs.

So JA is the MLC doll model?

LOL

I think he's perfect for it.

Mrs. H,
If JA is the roll model, I want to add a prop--Eggbert's plastic Easter Egg. I also have the pins for the tail too. Do we want the tails in different colors to match is moods?

HaHa! We can have it where the doll is holding the egg because he's stealing it! Too funny!

I love the tail idea too! We need matching ears too! You know, like when Pinochio grows ears and a tail.

Maybe their noses can grow too each time they lie?

I agree. Boy, we could really have a great time creating this little monster. It's good to see you relaxed and enjoying this thread.

Welcome home!

Thanks Snodderly,

I am actually dreading going home tomorrow because I liked being here at my parents this week just forgetting about all the other crap.

Now, Matty needs an ow.....Can't be no beauty....She has to be ugly, no morals, and she needs a dunkin' donut shop to hang out in while Matty drives the kids home.

Any other ideas?

Up, that was an awesome thead too. Thanks for bringing it back up!

I swear, if you don't laugh about this stuff, you would just end up in a loony bin from going too crazy or getting too depressed.

I choose to laugh.
