That's great that you went by my old house! It took us 4 years to fix it up: gutted the interior and reframed, ripped off log siding and re-stuccoed, new roof, etc. I'll never do that again!
Hope you and kids are enjoying the trip - you're going to some of the places I most love. Course it's a bit cooler in the fall!
