It's just sad you guys can't pray for rain at tropicana field isn't it
I get that your parents are like that G, maybe you misunderstood my point. My point is that you have to change your outlook to feel good that mom is asking you logistical questions and make that your way of knowing she does care. Parents come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and styles. We as their children need to figure out how to make that work for us.
As far as I know that should be a go. A double feature sounds good. I know I could use a break now. Glad that you are getting to spend some time with your family.

Hey g! I hope you're having a wonderful time with your daughter. I'm so glad the move will allow you to see more of her - girls need their daddy's - especially when her daddy is MotU!

Hmmmmm... are your parents originally from America? It sounds as if they are very traditional (as is my husband). I'm wondering if I'll ever be able to knock down his walls.
Have a great week house hunting. Give the gypsy a BIG HUG for me (she's supposed to do the same... hug you from me, that is)!

be sure to check out my new occupation. I hope you are having a good time in NYC? as I seem to think that is where you are now. Hope to catch up with you soon. Ring it this afternoon.
M - remember that movie "Twins" with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Devito? That's us. I'll let you decide which one of us is Ah-nold.
Ms Imp - My parents didn't move to the States until after I was born. So yes, they are very traditional in some ways. The way they are, is just simply the way they are. I just do my best to work with it.
The game yesterday was awesome. The Sox almost pulled a ninth inning comeback, but the Yanks squeeked by. The rain stopped about an hour before game time and it stayed away. I got to have my Mastercard priceless moment, hanging out with D, hootin' and hollerin', and explaining parts of the game with her.
Today we'll be having lunch with my brother and his family, then I head out to Allentown.
